5-26-21 THOUGHTS

Cath and I got up at 4 this morning to see the “Blood Moon”.   It was pretty neat.  One more unique display from our AWESOME GOD!

Ps 8:1-9     O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth, Who have displayed Your splendor above the heavens!  2  From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established strength Because of Your adversaries, To make the enemy and the revengeful cease.  3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained; 4  What is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him? 5  Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory and majesty! 6  You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, 7  All sheep and oxen, And also the beasts of the field, 8  The birds of the heavens and the fish of the sea, Whatever passes through the paths of the seas. 9  O LORD, our Lord, How majestic is Your name in all the earth!
Ps 148:1-13       Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights!  2  Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts! 3  Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light! 4  Praise Him, highest heavens, And the waters that are above the heavens! 5  Let them praise the name of the LORD, For He commanded and they were created. 6  He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree which will not pass away. 7  Praise the LORD from the earth, Sea monsters and all deeps; 8  Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word; 9  Mountains and all hills; Fruit trees and all cedars; 10  Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and winged fowl; 11  Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth; 12  Both young men and virgins; Old men and children. 13  Let them praise the name of the LORD, For His name alone is exalted; His glory is above earth and heaven.    [We sing a beautiful song that follows these words closely]
Rom 8:31-39  :What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? 32  He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? 33  Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; 34  who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. 35  Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36  Just as it is written, "FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED." 37  But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38  For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39  nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
From “BLOOD MOON” to ETERNITY, I am encouraged as I start  my day!

My Prayer:
Thank you for being our most awesome God.  In an unsure world, we have you as our rock and the one we flee to for all that assures us.  Help us to rest in you, to cast all our cares upon you.
In the precious name of our Savior,                 Amen
